Terms of Service — Therapua Physiotherapy & Rehab

By accessing this website or booking an appointment with Therapua Physiotherapy & Rehab Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Therapua Physiotherapy & Rehab Inc. provides registered physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and health education. All clinical services are delivered by or under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.

Appointments may be booked online via Jane App, by phone, or by email. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

• Provide accurate and complete health information at the time of booking and during your assessment
• Arrive on time for your scheduled appointment
• Provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services to any individual at our professional discretion.

Fees for physiotherapy services are due at the time of each appointment unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept major credit cards and debit.

It is your responsibility to verify your insurance coverage prior to your appointment and to submit claims to your insurer directly. We are not responsible for claims denied by your insurer. Any portion not covered by insurance remains your responsibility.

Fees are subject to change. Current fee schedules are available upon request.

You agree to provide complete and accurate health information, including all current medications, medical conditions, and prior injuries. Withholding relevant health information may affect the safety and effectiveness of your treatment and releases Therapua Physiotherapy & Rehab Inc. from liability for any resulting harm.

The content on this website — including text, images, and information about conditions and treatments — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional physiotherapy assessment.

Physiotherapy involves physical treatment and carries inherent risks. Your physiotherapist will explain the risks and benefits of any proposed treatment before proceeding, and your informed consent will be obtained.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
